DoubtPay AI Review: Is a ₹9 Credit Pack Worth It? (Honest Guide)

We built DoubtPay AI, so this is not an outside review — but it is an honest one, including what it does not do. Read it before spending ₹9.

What ₹9 buys

15 answer credits. One credit = one successful AI answer: a step-by-step explanation with a labelled diagram where useful, or a hint, an attempt check, a revision plan, a practice set, or flashcards + notes + mind map for a topic. Failed requests refund the credit. No expiry schedule while the service runs; no auto-renewal.

Larger packs

Pack Price Credits Per answer
Quick doubt ₹9 15 ₹0.60
Study pack ₹49 100 ₹0.49
Homework pack ₹99 250 ₹0.40

What it does well

  • Answers your exact question, typed or photographed, in 12 Indian languages.
  • Steps are written the way marking schemes reward: formula, substitution, result, unit.
  • Draws geometry figures, ray diagrams, circuits, biology figures inside the answer.
  • ‘Check my attempt’ finds the step where you went wrong.
  • Answers stay in your history for 90 days; ‘Listen’ reads them aloud.
  • Optional animated voice tutor for any saved answer at ₹9 one-time.

Limitations (please read)

  • AI can make mistakes — check calculations and facts against your textbook.
  • Current affairs and very recent GK must be verified with a newspaper.
  • It is a doubt solver, not a test series or a course.
  • No MP4 download of animated lessons; voice depends on your device.
  • Credits are added only after payment confirmation on the server — a screenshot or UTR does not unlock them.

Who should buy

  • Students who ask 3–20 doubts a day and want them explained, not just answered.
  • Hindi/regional medium students.
  • Parents who want a fixed, small spend with no renewal.

Who should not

  • Students who only need NCERT back-exercise answers (free banks exist).
  • Anyone expecting live human tutoring.
