SSC GD Constable 2026-27: Syllabus, Pattern and 45-Day Preparation Plan

SSC GD Constable (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NCB, Assam Rifles) is a 10th-level exam with lakhs of applicants. The CBE is short — 80 questions in 60 minutes — so accuracy and physical fitness decide selection.

  • GK: current affairs (6 months), sports, awards, polity basics, history, geography, science (Class 8–10)
  • Maths: number system, percentage, ratio, average, SI-CI, profit-loss, time-work, speed-distance, mensuration, DI
  • Language: error spotting, fill in the blanks, synonyms/antonyms, idioms, one-word substitution, comprehension (or Hindi grammar equivalents)

45-day plan

PET/PST (general)

  • Male: 5 km run in 24 min; height 170 cm; chest 80 cm (+5 expansion).
  • Female: 1.6 km in 8.5 min; height 157 cm.
  • Relaxations apply for some categories/regions — check the notification.

Daily routine

Morning 45 min running; 3 hours study (maths 1 h, reasoning 45 min, GK 45 min, language 30 min); 20 min revision at night.
