Photo Doubt Solver: How to Get a Step-by-Step Answer from a Question Photo

Clicking a photo of a question is the fastest way to ask a doubt. But most students get poor answers because the photo is bad or they give no context. Here is how to do it right.

Click the photo properly

  1. Crop to one question only — not the whole page.
  2. Keep the phone flat and parallel to the page; avoid shadows.
  3. Make sure the diagram (if any) is inside the crop.
  4. For handwritten attempts, write dark and clear.

Add two lines of context

Write your class or exam, the chapter, and what you want: ‘Class 12 Physics, ray optics — explain step by step in Hinglish’ or ‘JEE, I got option B, check my attempt’. Context changes the answer quality more than anything else.

Choose the help type

  • Explain step by step — full solution with diagram
  • Hint — one nudge so you solve it yourself
  • Check my attempt — finds the exact step where you went wrong
  • Practice questions — 5 similar questions with answers

Privacy note

Keep your name, roll number or phone number out of the photo. On DoubtPay AI the image goes only to the AI provider and is not saved in your public history.
